The Maine South Hawks topped the visiting Deerfield Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Hawks now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Trier for a Central Suburban South test on Tuesday, April 16. Maine South will confront a Trevians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 8-2.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits enter the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Antioch defeated Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
