The Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) volleyball overcame the host King-Chavez Community Lions (San Diego, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Horizon Prep upgrades its record to 10-8 on the year. The Lions host Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 17. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-8.

The Lions now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Health Sciences for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, April 16. King-Chavez Community will clash with a Surgeons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (San Diego, CA). The Surgeons record now stands at 1-14.
