In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Mead Mavericks baseball team scored a nice 15-4 victory over the Frederick Golden Eagles.
The Mavericks (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Wizards go into the game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Windsor overcame Wellington (Wellington, CO), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO). The Roughriders go into the game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Roosevelt was overwhelmed by Skyline (Longmont, CO), 20-6, in a league game.
