In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Fountain Inn Fury soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Belton-Honea Path Bears.
The Fury (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Mustangs come into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Palmetto nudged Wren (Piedmont, SC), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Bears (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Southside (Greenville, SC). The Tigers come into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 0-0 record.
