The Mallard Creek Mavericks smashed the host Chambers Cougars soccer squad by a margin of 6-2 in Thursday's league match.

The Mavericks now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Charlotte for a Queen City 3A/4A match on Tuesday, April 16. Mallard Creek will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 2-11.
