Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 5-0 in a league battle.
The Crusaders now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Westerly for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Pilgrim will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
