Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI), 13-11 in a league battle.

The Chargers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pilgrim for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Chariho will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Islanders clash with the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Monday, April 15. Middletown will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Oakers come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 20-5 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
