The Whitney Wildcats lacrosse team scored 22 points and held the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles to 3 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Sierra Foothill League game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Folsom was overwhelmed by Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA), 20-3, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans go into the Sierra Foothill League game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Oak Ridge was overwhelmed by Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA), 9-8, in a league game.
