In Thursday's non-league contest, the IMG Academy Black Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) lacrosse squad routed the host Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA), by a count of 13-7.
Coming up next, the Ascenders confront the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 13. IMG Academy Black will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
The Governors now own a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawrence Academy for a Independent Schools contest on Saturday, April 13. Governor's Academy will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 22-3 league loss to Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.
