Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 12-4 in a league test.

The Red Devils now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jordan-Elbridge for a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.

In their next game, the Golden Knights face the Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) in a Section 3 TVL- East test, on Tuesday, May 14. Holland Patent will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
