In Thursday's league battle, the host Mid-Carolina Rebels soccer squad scored a close 4-3 win over the Abbeville Panthers.

The Rebels (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Tigers go into the AA Region 2 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Saluda nipped Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC), 11-0, in a league battle.

The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Newberry (Newberry, SC). The Bulldogs go into the AA Region 2 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Newberry was nudged by Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
