The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) and the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA), saw Appling County's soccer squad beat Brantley County by a margin of 6-2.
The Pirates now sport a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. Appling County will meet a Gryphons squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-9.
With the loss, Brantley County drops to 1-15 on the season.
