The Timpview Thunderbirds held off the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league match.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wasatch for a 5A Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 16. Timpview will encounter a Wasps squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Maple Mountain drops to 4-5 on the season. The Golden eagles host Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT) to encounter the Dons in a 5A Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 16. The Dons come into the match with a record of 5-4. Spanish Fork lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT)
