In Thursday's league battle, the host Park Crossing Thunderbirds soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Russell County Warriors.
The Thunderbirds (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Greenville (Greenville, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Greenville was nudged by Eufaula (Eufaula, AL), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Warriors (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Phenix City, AL). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record.
