The Brookings-Harbor Bruins softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs to 13 in the Bruins league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Brookings-Harbor moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Bruins host South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR) to clash with the Lancers in a 3A-SD3 Special District 3 game on Saturday, April 20. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 9-0. South Umpqua won 17-5 in their recent league game against Glide (Glide, OR)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) in a 3A-SD3 Special District 3 game, on Tuesday, April 16. Sutherlin will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 8-4 league win over Rogue River (Rogue River, OR).
