Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Orphans now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Carlyle for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Cahokia falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Comanches travel to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to battle the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Flyers enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. East St. Louis lost 19-3 in their recent league challenge against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)
