Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Dinos now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Sanpete for a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, April 12. Carbon will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT). The Hawks record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Richfield falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Emery (Castle Dale, UT) to face the Spartans in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Emery won 12-4 in their recent non-league challenge against North Sevier (Salina, UT)
