Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX), 10-6 in a league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 20-7 record. They take the field next when they host Crandall for a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, April 12. Ennis will face a Pirates squad coming off a 12-10 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Terrell falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Corsicana (Corsicana, TX) to face the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-20. Corsicana won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX)
