Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA), 16-6 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Center for a Valley North County challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Ramona will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Escondido falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host Westview (San Diego, CA) to battle the Wolverines in a Valley North County challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 9-6.
