Kindred/Richland Colts (Kindred, ND) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Colts now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hillsboro/Central Valley for a Class B - Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Northern Cass falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Shanley (Fargo, ND) to face the Deacons in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Deacons enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Shanley won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount (Fairmount, ND)
