West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Luther Knights (Onalaska, WI), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Black River Falls for a Coulee challenge on Friday, April 12. West Salem will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Westby (Westby, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Luther falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Melrose-Mindoro won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Independence/Gilmanton (Independence, WI)
