In Thursday's league contest, the North Sevier Wolves (Salina, UT) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT), by a margin of 18-10.

With the triumph, North Sevier moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Wolves host Duchesne (Duchesne, UT) to play the Eagles in a 2A Central contest on Friday, April 12. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 12-2. Duchesne won 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Altamont (Altamont, UT)

In their next game, the Thunderbirds play the Grand County Red Devils (Moab, UT) in a 2A Central contest, on Friday, April 12. Piute will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 10-5 league loss to San Juan (Blanding, UT).
