The Plainfield North Tigers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Oswego East Wolves to 7 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Plainfield North moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to play the Fighting Saints in a non-league game on Saturday, April 13. The Fighting Saints come into the game with a record of 7-3. St. Charles East won 1-0 in their recent league game against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)

In their next game, the Wolves play the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 12. Oswego East will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Griffins come into the game with a 8-4 record after their 9-8 league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
