Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (Palmyra, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Williams Bay Bulldogs (Williams Bay, WI), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cambria-Friesland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Palmyra-Eagle will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Oakfield (Oakfield, WI). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Williams Bay drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI) to play the Big Red in a non-league contest on Friday, April 12. The Big Red come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Wayland Academy lost 16-1 in their recent league contest against Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI)
