The Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) softball routed the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 12-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (17-6) will now prepare for their bout against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 10-9 record. In their last bout, Pueblo was routed by Mountain View (Tucson, AZ), 14-3, in a non-league bout.

The Rangers now possess a 0-13 record. They play next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a 6A South bout on Tuesday, April 16. Rincon/University will confront a Badgers squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 18-5.
