St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Saints now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Belle Plaine for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. St. Peter will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Waseca falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays host New Ulm (New Ulm, MN) to battle the Eagles in a South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
