The Hector Wildcats baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Acorn Tigers to 7 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Conway Christian for a non-league test on Monday, April 14.
With the defeat, Acorn drops to 0-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Hackett (Hackett, AR) to clash with the Hornets in a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 15-1. Hackett won 18-4 in their recent league test against Subiaco Academy (Subiaco, AR)
