Mississippi High School Baseball - Kossuth defeats Alcorn Central

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) and the visiting Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS), saw Kossuth's baseball team beat Alcorn Central by a margin of 9-1.
The Aggies (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 18-8 record. In their last battle, New Albany defeated Byhalia (Byhalia, MS), 15-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bears face the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Alcorn Central will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 12-13 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS).
