In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Traverse City Central Trojans baseball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Big Rapids Cardinals.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Francis (Traverse City, MI). The Gladiators go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, St. Francis nudged Cadillac (Cadillac, MI), 12-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals play the Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) in a Central State game, on Monday, April 14. Big Rapids will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MI).
