The Ogilvie Lions baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Braham Bombers to 7 in the Lions league win on Friday.
The Lions now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinckley-Finlayson for a Great River test on Tuesday, April 15. Ogilvie will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 9-7 league loss to East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Braham drops to 1-2 on the year. The Bombers host Aitkin (Aitkin, MN) to clash with the Gobblers in a Great River test on Tuesday, April 15. The Gobblers go into the test with a record of 1-1.
