The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL) and the visiting Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL), saw Pawnee's baseball team beat Bunker Hill by a margin of 17-2.
The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Mac (Virden, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, North Mac was overwhelmed by Carlinville (Carlinville, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Minutemen face the Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL) in a MSM battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).
