The Cass City Red Hawks baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Vassar Vulcans to 2 in the Red Hawks league win on Friday.

The Red Hawks now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Capac for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Cass City will play a Chiefs team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Sandusky (Sandusky, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Vassar drops to 0-2 on the year. The Vulcans travel to Bentley (Burton, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-2. Bentley lost 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Durand (Durand, MI)
