The Cathedral Fighting Irish baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Deming Wildcats to 6 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Friday.
The Fighting Irish now hold a 19-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deming for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Cathedral will play a Wildcats team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.
With the defeat, Deming drops to 11-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Cathedral (El Paso, TX) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league test on Friday, April 11.
