North Carolina High School Baseball - Central Academy loses to West Stanly

In Friday's league bout, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a tally of 11-0.
Next up, the Colts encounter the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A bout, on Monday, April 14. West Stanly will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 7-10 record after their 10-3 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
The Cougars (8-11) will now prepare for their bout against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack come into the Rocky River 2A/3A outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Parkwood was overwhelmed by Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
