The DeSoto Central Jaguars baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Southaven Chargers to 0 in the Jaguars league win on Friday.
The Jaguars now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they host Tupelo for a non-league test on Thursday, April 17.
With the defeat, Southaven drops to 5-15 on the year. The Chargers host Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a 7A Region 1 test on Saturday, April 12. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-12. Horn Lake lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Oxford (Oxford, MS)
