The D'Hanis Cowboys baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Sabinal Yellowjackets to 1 in the Cowboys league win on Friday.
The Cowboys now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Charlotte for a 2A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, April 15. D'Hanis will play a Trojans team coming off a 13-3 league win over Brackett (Brackettville, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 8-10.
With the defeat, Sabinal drops to 4-12 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 31 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 15-5. Three Rivers won 18-9 in their recent league test against Knippa (Knippa, TX)
