Oregon High School Baseball - Vale defeats Grant Union

The Vale Vikings baseball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Grant Union Prospectors to 12 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.
The Vikings now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Grande for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Vale will play a Tigers team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Fruitland (Fruitland, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
With the defeat, Grant Union drops to 4-7 on the year. The Prospectors host Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR) to play the Rockets in a 2A/1A-SD7 Special District 7 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 1-3. Pilot Rock won 7-2 in their recent league test against Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR)
