In Friday's league bout, the Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), by a tally of 16-0.
Next up, the Rangers encounter the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Greenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 13-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX).
The Eagles (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Indians enter the 4A Region I District 3 bout with a 19-7 record. In their last bout, Seminole achieved victory over Monahans (Monahans, TX), 8-3, in a league bout.
