Texas High School Baseball - Weatherford nips Lake Ridge

The Weatherford Kangaroos baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Lake Ridge Eagles to 1 in the Kangaroos league win on Friday.

The Kangaroos now hold a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Martin for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Weatherford will play a Warriors team coming off a 6-4 league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-14.

With the defeat, Lake Ridge drops to 7-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Aledo (Aledo, TX) to play the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 16-5. Aledo won 9-0 in their recent league test against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX)
