The Lincoln-Way Central Knights baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Stagg Chargers to 2 in the Knights league win on Friday.
The Knights now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook South for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Lincoln-Way Central will play a Titans team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Titans record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Stagg drops to 1-10 on the year. The Chargers host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a Southwest Suburban test on Saturday, April 12. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 9-0. Lincoln-Way West won 18-0 in their recent league test against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
