The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA), saw Taylor County's baseball team gain a win over Marion County by a tally of 2-0.
The Vikings (19-8) will now prepare for their bout against Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league bout with a 10-17 record. In their last bout, Crisp County edged Appling County (Baxley, GA), 9-7, in a league bout.
The Eagles (7-15) will now prepare for their bout against Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Pirates enter the non-league bout with a 9-13 record.
