The McDonogh 35 Roneagles (New Orleans, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), 20-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Roneagles now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy for a 4A District 10 challenge on Saturday, April 12. McDonogh 35 will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-14.
With the defeat, Morris Jeff drops to 3-8 on the year. The Pelicans host Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Lions in a 3A District 10 challenge on Monday, April 14. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 1-12.
