Connecticut High School Baseball - Naugatuck edges Seymour

In Friday's league game, the host Naugatuck Greyhounds baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Seymour Wildcats.

The Greyhounds (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Crosby nudged Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT), 16-0, in a league game.

Next, the Wildcats play the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 15. Seymour will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 0-3 record after their 14-3 league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT).
