New York High School Baseball - Northeastern Clinton loses to Peru

April 11, 2025: Peru, NY 12972

Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), 12-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Peru advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Massena (Massena, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Saturday, April 12. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Cougars now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beekmantown for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I match on Monday, April 14. Northeastern Clinton will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 14-11 league win over Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
