St. Augustine Knights (Laredo, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX), 14-13 in a league match.

With the triumph, St. Augustine advances its record to 3-5 on the season.

The Flyers now have a 29-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Antonio Christian for a TAPPS Division II District 3 match on Tuesday, April 15. St. Joseph will battle a Lions squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-11.
