In Friday's non-league bout, the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Turner Falcons (Burneyville, OK), by a tally of 8-0.
Next up, the Comets encounter the Davis Wolves (Davis, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. Velma-Alma will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 12-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Walters (Walters, OK).
