Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR), 3-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Viola advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Shirley (Shirley, AR) to battle the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 15. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 1-9.

The Eagles now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Armorel for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 16.
