Illinois High School Volleyball - Belleville West over Maryville Christian

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Belleville West Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Maryville Christian Lions.

The Maroons (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Dominic beat Duchesne (St. Charles, MO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Maryville Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
