Camelback Spartans (Phoenix, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Camelback improves its record to 5-13 on the season. The Spartans host Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 9-10. Apollo won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Independence (Glendale, AZ)

The Jaguars now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Browne for a 6A Metro test on Tuesday, April 15.
