In Friday's league challenge, the host Central Davidson Spartans volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals.

The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against John Yowell Academy (High Point, NC). The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, John Yowell Academy was nudged by Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bengals meet the Winston Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Triad Math and Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league win over John Yowell Academy (High Point, NC).
